Therefore, our university seeks to provide all means and opportunities to obtain sufficient and healthy food to meet the nutritional needs to ensure the continuity of students to finish their studies. Without any obstacles or problems they face, one of the most important of these problems is the possibility of providing food.\u201d<\/span><\/td><td style=\"width: 29.8578%\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18356\" src=\"https:\/\/aswu.edu.eg\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/istockphoto-1284690585-612x612-1-300x200-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><p><span style=\"color: #003366;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Cairo\">Goal of the program<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Cairo\">The Food Security Program aims to:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Cairo\">*<\/span>Reducing the problem of hunger among students, as the university provided subsidies to its students in the amount of <strong>(<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">\u00a0283603.15\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0)<\/strong> in the year <strong>(2022\/2023)<\/strong>, <strong>(<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">159300.00<\/span>\u00a0)<\/strong> in the year <strong>(2022\/2021)<\/strong>, <strong>(\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">282.728.5<\/span>\u00a0)<\/strong> in the year <strong>(2021\/2020)<\/strong>, and <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>(355,300)<\/strong><\/span> in the year <strong>(2019\/2020)<\/strong>. The university\u2019s efforts were not limited to students only, but also included (Employees \u2013 Academic staff and their assistants) by reducing the prices of their meals.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Cairo\">* Increasing the productive efficiency of agricultural production at the university by planting vegetables and fruits in the farms of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the university, until the internal production is replaced by imports for agriculture.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Cairo\">This is done through the following:-<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Cairo\">1- Planting (8) greenhouses for the production of (okra &#8211; zucchini &#8211; strawberry &#8211; cucumber &#8211; pepper) in the faculty farm outside the faculty.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Cairo\">2- Cultivation of (7) acres of fruit (Grapes &#8211; Mango, Kate \/ Naomi) on the faculty farm outside the university campus.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Cairo\">3- Cultivation of half an acre as student models with different types of fruits.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Cairo\">4- Allocating (9) acres for animal and poultry production as an educational research farm, as it aims to pump production to serve the local market in Aswan Governorate, at the faculty farm in Enaiba.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Cairo\">* The university provides total support to students through social solidarity to complete the stages of university education, as students can get meals at nominal prices, and students can apply for a student solidarity program to get meals for free.<\/span><\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/aswu.edu.eg\/en\/about\/organizational-structure\/education-and-student-affairs-sector\/university-hostel-administration\/nutrition-administration\/nutrition\/food-security\/food-security-program\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Cairo;text-decoration: underline\">For More on the Food Security Program<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cSince Allah created man, that he has been working diligently to obtain food to live, which made the pursuit of satisfying the body\u2019s desires an innate and instinctive matter.
