Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Nevin Al-Kabbaj – Minister of Social Solidarity.<\/span><\/p>\n

And fruitful cooperation within Aswan University under the leadership of Prof. Ayman Othman, President of Aswan University.<\/span><\/p>\n

And under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Salah Hashem – Advisor to the Ministry of Solidarity for Social Policies and General Coordinator of Social Solidarity Units in Egyptian Universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, Tuesday – 7\/12\/2021 AD, the Social Solidarity Unit at Aswan University was implemented<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0A seminar on \u201cCombating Violence against Women within the 16 Days Campaign to Combat Violence against Women and Girls on the issue of domestic violence.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The symposium was initiated by Professor Ahmed Mahmoud Obaid – the unit’s coordinator.<\/span><\/p>\n

We congratulate His Excellency Prof. Ayman Othman, President of Aswan University, for the issuance of the republican decision to assume the position of President of the University, wishing him all success.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, we welcome the attendance of students from the various faculties at Aswan University.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Introducing the unit, its axes and objectives, and presenting some of the unit’s activities that it carried out in the previous period.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, Prof. Nabila Mohamed Lotfy – Head of the Department of Social Work at the Faculty of Social Work at Aswan University began.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Starting the meeting in an innovative way by her Excellency to get acquainted with the attending students and to show a kind of movement in introducing themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then start defining the campaign launched by the Ministry of Solidarity to combat violence against women and girls.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then introduce the concept of violence in general. – Then the definition of domestic violence – types of domestic violence – causes of domestic violence – seriousness of domestic violence – violence against women – jurisprudential rulings on violence against women – effects of violence on the individual and society – treatment of domestic violence.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0The work team of the Social Solidarity Unit at Aswan University:<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Khaled Saber Taha – In charge of awareness activities.<\/span><\/p>\n
