The provisions of this unit do not prejudice the competence of workshops and laboratories in educational matters in which the workshops or laboratories are technically and administratively subordinate to the scientific departments that they follow technically and administratively. 2- Advanced Research Laboratory:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It was established on 1\/8\/2018 and aims to Doing scientific research in all medical research aspects, and Providing research service to the parties outside the university in accordance with the ethics of scientific research in addition to Holding training courses for researchers and workers in the field of laboratory research in both public and private sectors and Enhancement of scientific links with the other university faculties as well as local, regional and international universities in addition to the specialized scientific entities. 3- Microbiology Lab:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Basic subjects are taught to second-level students, which is agricultural microbiology, as well as teaching specialization subjects to third-level students (biotechnology program), the division of bacteria, as well as materials for biological treatment of environmental pollutants, applied microbiology, and physiology of microorganisms for fourth-level students biotechnology. The Department of Plant Pathology seeks to be a pioneer in research, teaching and guidance in the field of plant diseases and their applications at the local and regional levels. The department supervises graduate students and prepares them to obtain master\u2019s and doctoral degrees in the field of plant diseases. It also spreads the culture of training for all to ensure continuous development within the university and the development of the surrounding community. 7- Aswan Power Electronics Applications Research Center (APEARC):\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

APEARC is a special unit following the department of electrical engineering-Aswan Faculty of Engineering. It has started functioning as a focal point of multi-disciplinary research and education center for the power electronics applications for renewable energy and its service electronically in late 2007. This center was created to be step in the direction of excellence center for power electronics and renewable energy research in Upper Egypt. (APEARC) a pioneer research and development R&D unit working inside university and targeted industrial societies and companies, to create a distinctive, global Center specialized in industrial electronics applications research and to support the research and outreach activities to the problems which face the industry.
