They weigh the uneaten food after removing all the inedible waste, including the bones and fruit peels. The same process is followed in all Aswan University dormitories.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">This process is repeated during lunch hours every day for a week until AUND estimates how much food undergraduate students in Aswan waste while eating in the dining hall, or even in the dormitory dining halls.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000080;font-size: 18px\"><strong>Aswan University is working to exploit all its resources in the food production process<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p><ol style=\"text-align: justify\"><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Where the university has special <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;text-decoration: underline\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;text-decoration: underline\" href=\"https:\/\/aswu.edu.eg\/en\/about\/organizational-structure\/education-and-student-affairs-sector\/university-hostel-administration\/nutrition-administration\/nutrition\/food-security\/food-security-program\/the-capabilities-and-infrastructure-for-the-purpose-of-research-and-experiments-for-the-faculty-of-agriculture-and-natural-resources\/\">farms to produce natural plant foods<\/a><\/span><\/span> (vegetables &#8211; fruits) completely <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a style=\"color: #000000;text-decoration: underline\" href=\"https:\/\/aswu.edu.eg\/en\/services-aswu\/community-services-aswu\/service-units-aswu\/research-unit-for-the-study-of-tropical-plants\/achievements-of-research-unit-for-the-study-of-tropical-plants\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;text-decoration: underline\">free from synthetic herbicides or artificial<\/span> fertilizers<\/a>,<\/span> which are the basic conditions to produce sustainable healthy food<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The university also has farms for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;text-decoration: underline\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;text-decoration: underline\" href=\"https:\/\/aswu.edu.eg\/en\/about\/organizational-structure\/education-and-student-affairs-sector\/university-hostel-administration\/nutrition-administration\/nutrition\/food-security\/food-security-program\/the-capabilities-and-infrastructure-for-the-purpose-of-research-and-experiments-for-the-faculty-of-agriculture-and-natural-resources\/\">animal production<\/a><\/span><\/span> (meat &#8211;
