In\u00a02022\/ 2023<\/b>\u00a0the percentage of women starting a first degree was\u00a056%<\/b>\u00a0this is a very clear indication that Aswan University\u2019s approach in encouraging Women\u2019s applications in underrepresented subjects, through university outreach or through collaboration with other universities, community groups, government, or NGOs in regional or national campaigns, all these initiatives have clearly borne fruit.<\/span><\/p>

Also, there are\u00a066\u00a0<\/b>students with disabilities who were enrolling at Aswan University in\u00a02022\/2023<\/b>.\u00a0As well around\u00a0<\/b>79\u00a0<\/b>students from developing countries.<\/span><\/div>

Regarding the employees Aswan University in\u00a02022\/2023\u00a0<\/b>has\u00a0667\u00a0<\/b>Male vs\u00a0688\u00a0<\/b>Female, this shows how Aswan university encouraging applications by women even in recruiting.<\/span><\/div>

Aswan University has developed an\u00a0\u201cAccess-And-Participation-Plan 2022-2023\u2033<\/a><\/b><\/span><\/span>\u00a0to address any gap within any group that may be underrepresented, and plans to reduce these gaps.<\/span><\/p>

Aswan University plays a leading role in supporting women in various subjects, especially STEM, as they may be underrepresented and seek such support every year.\u00a0 Moreover, in 2021 the percentage of women starting a first degree was 56%, this is a very clear indication that Aswan University\u2019s approach in encouraging Women\u2019s applications in underrepresented subjects, through university outreach or through collaboration with other universities, community groups, government or NGOs in regional or national campaigns, all these initiatives have clearly borne fruit.<\/span><\/p>
