university directly reflects the university&#8217;s interest in assuming its responsibilities towards society in the governorate of Aswan in preserving heritage in general and the Aswan heritage in particular.<\/span><\/p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\"><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The center works on recording and documenting the local and regional cultural heritage<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The\u202fCenter of Civilization and Heritage\u202fof Aswan university host more events to teach people to preserve intangible cultural heritage as: &#8211;<\/span><\/li><\/ul><div data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 16px\">The center has made several events and achievements during\u00a0<b>2022\/2023<\/b>\u00a0by which it reflects its role towards Aswan&#8217;s folklore<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Aswan singing arts<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The arts of storytelling and oral communication<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The art of Aswan perfume installation<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The art of installing Aswan incense<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The art of installing cosmetics from natural elements<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Aswan various foods and drinks throughout the year or on different occasions<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The clothes and costumes of the people of Aswan, both men and women<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Henna painting<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Aswan customs and traditions on various occasions<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Crafts and Handicrafts:<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">(Ornaments and adornments such as necklaces &#8211; bracelets &#8211; earrings &#8211; head decorations &#8211; bags of wool and macrame threads &#8211; Ramadan lanterns &#8211; caps &#8211; keffiyehs &#8211; palm products: palm arjun &#8211; wicker &#8211; fiber &#8211; pottery &#8211; kilims &#8211; bedspreads).<\/span><\/li><\/ol><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Aswan University has also taken a serious step to preserve the handicrafts from extinction, as the &#8220;Aswan Civilization and Heritage&#8221; Center has documented the products by shopping them directly in the local markets or in the events and festivals witnessed by the
