Millions of people are already suffering from the catastrophic effects of extreme weather disasters exacerbated by climate change \u2013 from long droughts to devastating tropical cyclones\u2026 and many more.<\/span><\/div>

The devastation that climate change is causing, and will continue to cause, is a grave warning to humanity. The world\u2019s leading scientific body for assessing climate change warns that greenhouse gas emissions should \u201cpeak before 2025 at the latest and fall by 43\u00a0percent by 2030.<\/span><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Accordingly, the university took serious steps towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions, as the university adopted\u00a0a climate change action plan V 2.0 Feb 2023.<\/u><\/b><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Furthermore,\u00a0a commitment for reducing Carbon dioxide emissions<\/u><\/b><\/a><\/span>\u00a0has been also announced.<\/span><\/div>
