Diversity, equity, inclusion, and human rights on campus are the responsibility of everyone on campus. Aswan University launched a Social Solidarity Unit<\/a>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span> This unit was established according to a decision of the Supreme Council of Universities in its session held on August 15, 2020, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity. This unit provides consultations, programs, training courses and awareness seminars related to diversity, equality, inclusion, and human rights.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the most important activities carried out by the Social Solidarity Unit at Aswan University, which calls for equal inclusion, is the “People Like Us<\/a>“<\/span> <\/strong><\/span>initiative to integrate students with disabilities into the university community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aswan University has also a special unit\u00a0\u201cAnti-women violence\u201d<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span>for protecting women\u2019s rights and combating violence against them.<\/span><\/p>\n

The unit carried out many activities that its role is to raise awareness of women’s rights and their role and impact on society.<\/span><\/p>\n
