\u00a0 Based on Egypt\u2019s vision 2030, it rapidly heads towards digital economics based upon knowledge that encourages creation, research and improvement. A basic part of this vision is that the new administrative capital is being built to be the 1st<\/sup> smart city in Egypt. Believing in the role of higher education and scientific research in supporting this transformation, in this regard and as a part of of the preparations to launch the 1st<\/sup> Egyptian Hackathon at the state\u2019s level regarding smart cities in cooperation with Benha university and Amazon company in which teams from Egyptian universities will compete to find \u00a0creative solutions in the following fields\u201d smart buildings, smart facilities, smart gardens, smart transport, smart hospitals, smart recycling, smart observation, smart energy, smart administration, smart schools and universities).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 The participating teams will be qualified through seminars via internet for 3 days in Benha University, support and guidance will be provided for creating and developing prototype, the final judgment will be done by specialists. Results announcement and prizes distribution will be in the third day.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 From another part, the winner will obtain 100000 EGP. from Benha university in addition to valuable prizes from Amazon company and a great\u00a0opportunity to market their creations to the new Egyptian civil universities.<\/span><\/p>\n
