Today, the events of family and community awareness program were launched at Aswan University by Al-Azhar Global Center for Electronic Fatwas, under the auspices of the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb_ Sheikh of Al-Azhar, and Dr. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar_ Minister of Education and Scientific Research, in attendance of Dr. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed_ Aswan University President _ Sheikh \/ Ali Khalil – Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif – and Dr. Osama Al-Hadidi – Director of Al-Azhar Global Center for Electronic Fatwas, vice president, deans and professors of Aswan University.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The events began with the republican peace and then verses from the <\/strong>Holy<\/strong> Qur\u2019an. In his speech, Dr. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed, Aswan University President, welcomed the attendees. The University President expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb_Sheikh of Al-Azhar, and spoke about the importance of Al-Azhar\u2019s role, which spreads the moderation and tolerance of the Islamic religion to make people happy. To free human being from enslavement, Al-Azhar adopts various issues, combats the ideology of terrorism, and establishes the principle of dialogue with those we agree and with those we disagree.<\/strong> Al-Azhar Al-Sharif is making strenuous efforts to establish a culture of love, compassion, peace and dialogue among people.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Aswan University President pointed to the importance of societal, religious and cultural dialogue between all institutions and the renunciation of all causes of intolerance and hatred.<\/strong> The time has come to deal with the problems and issues facing our nation, the most serious of which are the thinking issues and its repercussions, and working on achieving peace for all mankind.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For his part, Sheikh Ali Khalil_ Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars in Al-Azhar_ stated during his speech that Al-Azhar plays its educational role towards the community and works to address societal issues through the Electronic Fatwa Committee and the reunion Committee to restore affection to society, which is beneficial to all. The program targets the education stage. Pre-university stage, university education stage, the stage of those who are about to get married and married people to maintain the integrity of the family, and how to choose a partner.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Osama Al-Hadidi – Director of the Global Electronic Fatwa Center – said that these events come among the many initiatives launched by Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and through which it seeks to nurture and build the Egyptian family, work to strength interdependence between its members, and emphasize its role in building a safe society ruled by love and tolerance. .<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Magdy Mohamed Ali, Vice President for Community Affairs and Environment Development, continued that the family and community awareness program began today and continues until Thursday, 19th<\/sup> November , in order to open a dialogue and discussion to answer students\u2019 questions and inquiries in various family and community issues, and a discussion dialogue took place at the conclusion of the session among the attending students.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
