Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed_ Aswan University President_ inaugurated today the second book fair organized by the Egyptian General Book Authority, at the university’s headquarters in Aswan Al-gadeda, and will continue during the period from 19-29 November.<\/span><\/p>\n

And this under the auspices of Dr. \/ Enas Abdel Dayem _Minister of Culture.<\/span><\/p>\n

The opening ceremony was attended by: – Vice Presidents of Aswan University, Deans of Faculties, Mr. Mohamed Idris _ Director General of Culture in Aswan Governorate, and Mr. Ayman Fathi Marzouk _ Director of the Distribution Department at the Egyptian Book Authority.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ghallab declared that the exhibition includes more than 20,000 books in various general knowledge, arts and literature at reduced prices and subsidized by the state, in order to spread culture among university students, in addition to providing books and scientific references that students need in studying and preparing various research.<\/span><\/p>\n

He added that visits will be organized by buss to transport students from the rest of the faculties in other university headquarters in Sahari, Faculties of energy engineering, education and medicine to the book fair held in the Aswan Al-Gadeda, so that all university students can benefit from this exhibition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Mohamed Idris, Director General of Culture in Aswan Governorate, added that the exhibition is attended by all other sectors of the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Egyptian Book Authority, the General Authority for Culture Palaces, the Cultural Development Fund and the Supreme Council of Culture, within the framework of the Mission that the Ministry of Culture bears to spread culture and knowledge. In all parts of Egypt.<\/span><\/p>\n
