Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed -Aswan University President signed a cooperation\u00a0protocol with Dr.\u00a0\u00a0Johansen Eid – Chairman of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education to open the first branch of organization on the level of South Upper Egypt in university headquarter in New Aswan city.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ghallab declared that the new branch of the organization will serve the pre-university education stage that includes schools and different Azhar institutes,\u00a0\u00a0its\u00a0opening is considered a big achievement for Aswan University because it serves the education process not only in Aswan University but also in\u00a0South of Upper Egypt entirely.<\/span><\/p>\n

He explained that this\u00a0 branch is the seventh branch of the national authority for quality assurance of education on the level of the Republic, also it is considered the second branch on the level of\u00a0 South of upper Egypt after the branch of\u00a0the organization in Assuit, so Aswan branch will reduce\u00a0travel hardships for teachers in Aswan and nearby governorates .<\/span><\/p>\n

Pointing out that the opening of the branch of the organization at the university’s headquarters in the New Aswan city will have a positive impact on the development of this promising city and will make a great leap forward and serve the local community.<\/span>
\nFor her part, Dr. Johansen Eid, Head of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education, stressed the keenness of the Authority to open new branches in various governorates especially in Upper Egypt in order to improve the quality of education and its continuous development and the adoption of educational institutions according to national standards that are transparent with international standards.<\/span>
\nShe pointed out that the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation is one of the main pillars of the National Plan for Educational Reform in Egypt as it is considered responsible authority for spreading the culture of quality in educational institutions and society and developing national standards that meet international standards to restructure educational institutions and improve their quality. To gain the confidence of the community and serve the purposes of sustainable development in Egypt.<\/span><\/p>\n
