{"id":2801,"date":"2019-04-04T13:08:12","date_gmt":"2019-04-04T13:08:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aswu.edu.eg\/en\/?p=2801"},"modified":"2019-04-04T14:14:06","modified_gmt":"2019-04-04T14:14:06","slug":"aswan-university-and-environmental-affairs-agency-launched-nile-youth-initiative-to-keep-water-from-pollution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aswu.edu.eg\/en\/aswan-university-and-environmental-affairs-agency-launched-nile-youth-initiative-to-keep-water-from-pollution\/","title":{"rendered":"Aswan University and Environmental Affairs Agency Launched &#8221;Nile Youth&#8221; Initiative to Keep Water from pollution"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In co-operation with Environmental Affairs Agency Branch, Aswan University launched &#8221;Nile Youth&#8221; initiative In order to raise awareness of the importance of preserving the Nile water from different sources of pollution, and continue the activities of this initiative for a week.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The initiative was attended by Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed-Aswan University President, Dr.Mamdouh El Sayed-General Manager of Aswan Environmental Affairs Agency Branch , Prof.Abdul Rahman Abdul Basset-Supervisor of Environmental Affairs &amp; Community Service Sector in the university, Prof.Ayman Othman-For the postgraduate studies and research, where the activities of the initiative began to stand a minute to mourn the spirit of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sayed Khalil &#8211; the late Vice President of the University of the idea of this initiative, which passed away about two months ago.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0Ghallab said that the initiative aims to raise awareness of the sources of pollution that flow into the Nile River and the efforts exerted to address this pollution whether it is industrial pollution or sewage or agricultural drainage, in addition, to spotting light on the role of the university in confronting the pollution of the Nile River with the participation of students and academic staff.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Dr.Mamdouh Sayed added the government has a great effort to confront pollution in the Nile River and prevent the dumping of raw sewage in Aswan city, based on the instructions of President.
