\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Aswan University participates with a delegation headed by Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman _ Aswan University president _in the activities of the celebration of \u201cAfrica Day\u201d and the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of the African Union, which is hosted by the Capital of Culture, Economy, Arts and Arab-African Youth \u201cAswan\u201d, which is held under the auspices of Major General \/ Ashraf Attia \u2013 Aswan Governor – and with the participation of a number of high-level African delegations. The delegation of Aswan University included Dr. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat – Vice President for Education and Student Affairs – and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Orabi_ Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research – and Dr. Hassan El Shoqaty – Dean of the Faculty of Commerce – Dr. Ahmed Farman – Vice Dean of Faculty of Archeology for Community Service and Environment Development – Dr. Mahmoud Anbar – Assistant Professor at Faculty of Commerce – and a group of academic staff at the Institute of African and Nile states research and studies.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Prof. Ayman Othman emphasized the ancient history, civilization, customs and traditions that arose on the banks of the Nile River, which link African peoples and the Nile Basin countries, and that there are relations between Egypt and African countries through student and scientific exchange between Aswan University and African universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Prof. Ayman Othman added that there are scientific, research and medical protocols between Aswan University and African universities, and this comes within the framework of the interest of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi – President of the Republic – in the African continent, especially in light of what the brotherly state of Sudan is witnessing from that war recently, and in light of the directives of Dr. Ayman Ashour – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to accept Sudanese students from Egyptian universities. Aswan University and its faculties played a prominent role in receiving students from Sudanese universities. Aswan University also sent 4 medical convoys to different countries of the continent of Africa, such as Tanzania and Nigeria, Djibouti, and Sudan.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 Othman praised the Egyptian-African relations, which are living their best era in light of scientific, commercial, investment and economic exchange at all levels.<\/span><\/p>\n
