\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 On Wednesday, the activities of the medical conference began under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_Aswan University President_ which is organized by the Department of Pediatrics at Faculty of Medicine entitled \u201cWhat\u2019s New in Subspecialties in Pediatrics.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Prof. Ayman Othman stressed the importance of holding and organizing medical and scientific conferences in Aswan Governorate, which is considered a global hub, and within the framework of promoting educational tourism and working to transfer scientific, research and medical expertise to young doctors, adding that medical and scientific conferences are among the criteria for Ranking that Aswan University obtained among The top places internationally at the level of Egyptian and international universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 In the same context, Dr. Mohamed Zaki Al-Dahshouri_ Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, indicated that the Pediatrics Department conference is in its sixth edition, which will be held during the period from 6-8 March 2024 in one of the major hotels in Aswan, which hosts an elite group of pediatric professors from Egyptian, Arab, and African universities and the United States of America, and it is held in cooperation and coordination between the Future Pediatricians Association and the Department of Pediatrics at Faculty of Medicine_ Aswan University.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0Dr. Mohamed Salah El-Din_ Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals_ pointed out the importance of holding scientific conferences that sharpen the skills of doctors in the pediatric department at the university hospital, which is witnessing remarkable development by providing medical personnel, equipping the department with the latest medical devices, and working to increase the number of nurseries to serve the people of Aswan and patients in the Southern Upper Egypt governorates.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 Dr. Bahaa El-Hawari, Head of the Pediatrics Department at Faculty of Medicine_ Aswan University, explained that the conference aims to develop the capabilities of young doctors scientifically and clinically, while transferring expertise to young doctors in the same specialty, and working to prepare them and provide them with medical expertise, while providing full opportunity for practical training in Workshops within the conference to train on the latest medical findings in all subspecialties in pediatrics in the world in cooperation with the American Academy of Pediatrics.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 It is worth noting that the conference activities were witnessed by Dr. Hanan Abdel-Moneim_ former Vice President of Aswan University and member of parliament, Dr. Ashraf Mebed, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environment Development, Dr. Mohamed Salah El-Din_ Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, and Dr. Ashraf Hammad_ Director of Medical Care in Aswan. At the end Activities of the first day of the conference: A number of conference participants were honored and a number of souvenir photos were taken with the President of Aswan University.<\/span><\/p>\n
