Dr. Ayman Ashour_ Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research_ stressed the Ministry\u2019s desire to upgrade the capabilities of workers, develop their skills, and support the process of modernization and digital development in Egyptian universities and institutes in line with Egypt\u2019s Vision 2030.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this context, the Ministry of Higher Education announced opening applications for training programs for workers in the information technology sector in higher education institutions, in cooperation with Huawei Egypt, in vital areas that include:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Big Data<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. AI<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Cloud Computing<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Datacom<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Security<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Access Networks<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. (5G)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For his part, Dr. Sherif Kishk_ Assistant Minister for Smart Governance_ explained that the training program aims to raise the capabilities of workers in the information technology sector in higher education institutions, and keep pace with rapid developments in the fields of information and communications technology, as well as meet the needs of the labor market, and enhance scientific research and development skills. Pointing out that an initial test will be held to determine the extent of applicants\u2019 familiarity with the basic principles of networks, operating systems, and databases.<\/span><\/p>\n
