Aswan University receives a delegation from the National Telecom Regulatory Authority to hold an awareness symposium on the services of National Telecom Regulatory Authority and how to protect users<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Louai Saad El-Deen Nasrat_ Vice President of Aswan University_ under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, Aswan University President, received a delegation from the National Telecom Regulatory Authority, which included Dr. Mohamed El-Hamahmy, chief cybersecurity expert, and Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim_ head of the Community Interaction Sector. Colonel. Ayman Salem, Director of Government Communications, and his accompanying delegation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Louai Saad El-Deen Nasrat_ Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, stressed the importance of this symposium for university students and university employees to spread awareness about the use of the Internet, work to protect young people from the dangers of cybercrime, and discuss the extent to which technological development may affect the values \u200b\u200bof society. And how to implement educational programs that qualify the graduate to compete in the labor market.<\/span><\/p>\n

The symposium was opened by Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Head of the Community Interaction Sector at the National Telecom Regulatory Authority, with an awareness lecture on how to safely use Internet services, in attendance of a number of students and university workers at the CREATIVA Centers building in Sahari. This comes within the framework of achieving Egypt\u2019s Vision 2030, and an emphasis on Directives of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi_ President of the Republic_ to implement the digital transformation system in the new republic.<\/span><\/p>\n

The symposium was continued by Dr. Mohamed El Hamahmy_ chief expert of the National Telecom Regulatory Authority, by talking about the most important issues related to communications and information technology, cybersecurity, and how to protect electronic accounts and devices from hacking, in addition to raising awareness of the role of the National Telecom Regulatory Authority in protecting the rights of users, and introducing digital services. The importance of using them as mobile electronic wallets, in addition to reviewing the characteristics and features of the interactive application for the MYNTRA device, and how to send and receive complaints related to telecom services.<\/span><\/p>\n

The symposium received a large attendance and great interaction from students and university employees, and the Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs thanked and appreciated the agency\u2019s delegation for the fruitful and constructive cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n
