In the context of implementing the plan for student activities at Aswan University, under patronage of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Osman, President of Aswan University, and under the supervision of Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the university is committed to fostering student activities and talent.<\/p>\n
Prof. Ayman Othman stressed the university’s interest in student activities and working to adopt artistic talents. In this context, the Artistic Activity Department of the General Administration of Student Care at Aswan University organized the first art festival today in the conference hall in Sahari (Marshal Tantawi Hall), in order to discover singing, poetic, cultural and creative talents and work to provide all forms of support to students. This was attended by Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman and Mr. Abdel Moneim Mohamed Abdel Rady – officer of Artistic Activity.<\/p>\n
Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat added that artistic competitions were held in the following artistic fields: (Islamic religious chanting, group and individual – Christian religious chanting (hymns) group and individual – individual singing – individual playing – folk arts – theater) in order to develop students’ skills and work to discover their various talents and work to refine them.<\/p>\n
Abdel-Moneim Mohamed Abdel Rady explained that competitions and student activities are organized in which talented students participate. They are selected by specialized committees and training them to participate in the first art festival organized by the Artistic Activity Department in the General Administration of Student Care at the university.<\/p>\n
