The Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Aswan University hosted a cultural and religious conference titled “A New Beginning for Seeking Knowledge to Build the Human Being.” This took place as part of the university’s efforts to activate student activities and events.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Louay Saad El-Din Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, stated that the purpose of this symposium is to protect young people and university students from the dangers and challenges they face, as well as from destructive ideas and corrupt beliefs, and to encourage students to invest their time and health in what is useful to them in acquiring knowledge and expanding their circle of knowledge, in order to develop their scientific personality. This symposium is part of the president’s initiative “A New Beginning for Building the Egyptian Person.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Aziz, the Deputy of the General Sheikhdom of Sufi Orders in Aswan, emphasized the importance of seeking knowledge and maintaining prayer, as it is a connection between the servant and his Lord, as well as a key to success and reform in various aspects of life. He explained that pursuing knowledge is a requirement for every Muslim.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr.Yasser Abdel Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, explained that the faculty works to strengthen students’ sense of belonging and loyalty to their homeland through student activities, sports, cultural, artistic, scientific, and research events, with the goal of honing students’ talents and developing their creative abilities in a variety of fields.<\/span><\/p>\n

The symposium was attended by Dr. Louay Saad El-Din Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Aziz, Deputy of the General Sheikhdom of Sufi Orders in Aswan, and Dr. Yasser Abdul Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, as well as college deputies and university students.<\/span><\/p>\n
