Under the patronage of Prof. Loay Saad El-Din Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, an educational seminar was held on the American Cultural Exchange Program for faculty members, their assistants and university students. This was under the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Mahalal, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Sadek Mohamed, Advisor to the President of the University for Student Activities. The seminar was held in collaboration with the US Embassy, in the presence of the Deputy US Cultural Attach\u00e9 and other cultural program coordinators, in the hall of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources on the university campus in Sahary.<\/span><\/p>\n

The symposium featured a presentation of programs available in the United States of America to enroll students, faculty members, and their assistants in a variety of fields, with the goal of creating job opportunities and improving cultural exchange and dialogue to benefit a new generation of university graduates.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Louay Saad El-Din Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, stated that the university administration aims to broaden the scope of student and cultural exchange in order to learn about the most recent developments in the fields of study, keep up with rapid cultural and technological development, and provide new job opportunities in the local and international markets. Dr. Louay noted that the symposium’s goal is to connect faculty members, assistants, and students to existing exchange programs that allow participants to study in the United States of America in a variety of cultural subjects.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Ahmed Abdel Sadek, Student Activities Coordinator, indicated that the institution is trying to implement its student activity strategy for the upcoming academic year while utilizing all available resources. At the conclusion of the symposium, the floor was opened for debate, and students’ questions and inquiries in this area were addressed.<\/span><\/p>\n
