Prof. Loai \u00a0Saad El-Deen Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, witnessed activities organized by Faculty of Archaeology as part of the activities and events of the presidential initiative of \u201cNew Beginning for Human Development”, in attendance of Prof. Thanaa Abu Talib, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Ahmed Farman, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat explained that Aswan University implements the goals of the presidential initiative of \u201cBedaya\u201d through student activities and events organized by the university\u2019s faculties. In this context, the Faculty of Archaeology at the university campus in New Aswan City organized a workshop for orphans and students with special needs, to train them on effective activities and some handicrafts through which simple products can be produced with minimal capabilities, which helps them find a financial income and improve their living and family conditions. This comes within the framework of the political leadership\u2019s interest in people with disabilities and orphans.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Thanaa Abu Talib added that this activity comes within \u201cBedaya\u201d initiative, and that the Faculty is working to organize a series of activities and events over the course of 100 days, which is the period of the presidential initiative, with the aim of developing children\u2019s skills and talents in various fields. The President of Aswan University also participated with students with special needs in reviewing their projects, drawings, and simple products, and took memorial photos with them to support and motivate them.<\/span><\/p>\n
