#333333;font-family: Cairo\">In a strong comeback after missing last year\u2019s round, Aswan University has regained its advanced position in the British Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025 for sustainable development, reaffirming once again that it is one of the world\u2019s leading universities in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"515\" data-end=\"697\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\">Aswan University ranked among the top 300 universities globally in the 201\u2013300 category out of 2,318 universities included in this year\u2019s ranking, securing the following positions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;list-style-type: disc\">\n<li data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"733\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\">2nd among Egyptian universities<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"736\" data-end=\"768\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\">6th among African universities<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"1081\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\">This performance is considered one of the strongest in both the Arab and African regions, especially after the university had dominated the ranking nationally and continentally for three consecutive cycles from 2021 to 2023, before missing the previous cycle due to exceptional circumstances beyond its control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"1083\" data-end=\"1350\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\">The university ranked among the top universities globally in 10 out of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and achieved remarkable progress in precise indicators measuring the institution\u2019s impact in education, environment, society, and partnerships, most notably:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;list-style-type: disc\">\n<li data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1437\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\"><strong data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1392\">SDG17 \u2013 Partnerships for the Goals:<\/strong> 11th globally, 1st in Egypt, 3rd in Africa<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1440\" data-end=\"1528\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\"><strong data-start=\"1440\" data-end=\"1487\">SDG11 \u2013 Sustainable Cities and Communities:<\/strong> 36th globally, 1st in Egypt and Africa<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1531\" data-end=\"1580\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\"><strong data-start=\"1531\" data-end=\"1554\">SDG2 \u2013 Zero Hunger:<\/strong> Ranked 101\u2013200 globally<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1583\" style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\"><strong data-start=\"1883\" data-end=\"1910\">SDG5 \u2013 Gender Equality:<\/strong> Ranked 801\u20131000 globally<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1940\" data-end=\"2000\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\"><strong data-start=\"1940\" data-end=\"1973\">SDG10 \u2013 Reduced Inequalities:<\/strong> Ranked 801\u20131000 globally<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2426\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\">Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Mehallal Orabi, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and supervisor of the International Ranking Office, stated that these exceptional results reflect Aswan University\u2019s commitment to implementing an integrated institutional vision based on societal impact, environmental balance, and international cooperation, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"2428\" data-end=\"2658\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\">He added that this achievement enhances the university\u2019s position on the global higher education map as an academic institution with a responsible orientation, actively contributing to sustainable development locally and globally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"2660\" data-end=\"3105\"><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Cairo\">On this occasion, he extended his sincere congratulations and appreciation to the university president, vice presidents, academic staff, supporting staff, workers, students, and all members of the academic community, emphasizing that this achievement would not have been possible without
