As part of Aswan University’s commitment to developing its postgraduate studies system and aligning scientific research with labor market needs, Faculty of Commerce hosted the graduation research discussions of students enrolled in the Professional Master’s Program in the Accounting Department. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat<\/strong>, President of the University; Prof. Mohamed Abdelaziz Mehlal<\/strong>, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Hassan Amin El-Shaqti<\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty; and under the supervision of Prof. Walid Allam<\/strong>, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.<\/span><\/p>\n

The submitted research projects addressed several topics related to the development of accounting and financial systems, including digital transformation in the accounting and auditing profession, governance and internal auditing, governmental accounting, and the automation of work of tax authority operations. These topics reflect the program\u2019s alignment with the latest professional and technological developments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat emphasized that Aswan University places great importance on professional postgraduate programs as a key pillar in preparing specialized professionals equipped with the knowledge and practical expertise needed to support digital transformation and enhance institutional performance. He noted that the Faculty of Commerce continues to develop its academic and professional programs in line with development requirements and labor market demands.<\/span><\/p>\n

For his part, Prof. Mohamed Abdelaziz Mehlal<\/strong> explained that the university is continuously developing its postgraduate studies and scientific research system in accordance with the latest academic standards. Meanwhile, Prof. Hassan Amin El-Shaqti affirmed that the Professional Master’s Program in Accounting contributes to preparing qualified professionals capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in accounting, auditing, and governance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The discussion committees commended the scientific and practical quality of the submitted research projects, noting their strong relevance to issues related to improving the institutional work and supporting the state’s efforts toward digital transformation and sustainable development.<\/span><\/p>\n
