In line with national and international efforts to promote environmental sustainability, reduce carbon emissions, and encourage the adoption of sustainable practices across educational institutions, Benha University has launched the \u201cBidaya\u201d (Beginning) platform <\/span>to support carbon neutrality in higher education.<\/span><\/p>\n

The innovative digital platform is designed to help universities and other educational institutions measure, monitor, manage, and reduce the carbon footprint of their academic, administrative, and operational activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The platform enables institutions to establish an integrated sustainability framework by identifying and analyzing sources of carbon emissions in accordance with recognized scientific standards and developing practical plans to reduce them. It also provides performance indicators and periodic reports to support evidence-based decision-making and advance institutional efforts to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/span><\/p>\n
