\u00a0 Aswan University witnessed an artistic carnival in which Egyptian and foreign troupes participated. The event was held in the university’s summer theater as a part of the Eighth Round of Aswan International Festival for Culture and Arts. The Festival was organized by the General Organization of Cultural Palaces from 16th<\/sup> \u2013 20th<\/sup> Feb. 2020. In this context, Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab said that Aswan university hosted 4 popular troupes on 18th<\/sup> \u2013 19th<\/sup> Feb. as a part of the ministry of culture and the general organization of cultural places’ plan for the International Folk Art Festival in Aswan.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event was attended by the president of the general organization of cultural places Dr. Ahmed Awaad, the vice president of graduate studies and scientific research Prof. Ayman Othman, some faculties’ deans, academic staff, university students. The shows were presented by foreign troupes from Poland and Russia and Egyptian ones from Al Sharqeia and Assiut.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0In the sidelines of the Festival, Aswan university presented gave Dr. Ahmed Awaad the University Sheild for the fruitful cooperation between Aswan university and the general organization of cultural places under the patronage of the ministry of culture.<\/span><\/p>\n
