Within the framework of the implementation of the presidential initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, which was implemented by Aswan University headed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed, President of Aswan University. <\/span>The activities of the International Forum for Sports Tourism Prospects and Ambitions – Aswan Ahla – were launched today, Thursday, from March 18-20, 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

Which is held under the auspices of Prof.\u00a0 Khaled Abdel Ghaffar – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi – Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Khaled El Anani – Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Major General Ashraf Attia – Governor of Aswan, and Prof. Ahmed Ghallab – President of the University Aswan.<\/span>
\nWhich is hosted by the Faculty of Physical Education – Aswan University, this is the largest sports-tourist event to activate tourism and sports, taking into account all precautionary measures to reduce the repercussions of the Coronavirus on the land of Aswan Governorate (Land of Gold) in the Arab Republic of Egypt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ghallab added that it is within the framework of cooperation between the Faculty of Physical Education and a number of different sports and tourism institutions in Egypt, the Arab world, and the world, which are participating in the international conference on the land of Aswan, the capital of culture, economy, arts, and Arab-African youth.<\/span>
\nMajor General Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, mentioned, during his speech, his happiness with the development witnessed by Aswan University and its hosting of such tourism and sports recipients that need marketing and investment to attract them to the governorate, and that the governorate has the natural ingredients that help restore Aswan Governorate to its natural position.<\/span>
\nDr. Kamal El-Din Darwish, Head of the Physical Education Sector at the Supreme Council of Universities, praised the sports facilities that Aswan University witnessed and the effort made to develop the Faculty of Physical Education and its various activities at Aswan University headed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghallab, within the framework of cooperation between the relevant ministries in higher education and tourism. Dr. Mohamed Sobhi Hassanein, Vice President of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, explained the importance of sports and student activities that the state supports through the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. <\/span>
\nProf. Dr. Adel Makki, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Aswan University, indicated that the forum hosts many participating sports figures, including Dr. Kamal Darwish – Head of the Education Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities and former President of Zamalek Club, and Dr. Hussein Al-Masry – Rapporteur of the Physical Education Sector Committee Dr. Muhammad Hassanein Sobhi – Vice President of the Egyptian Sports Federation, Dr. Muhammad Ali – Dean of the Faculty of Education in Assiut, Dr. Hisham El-Gyoushi – Secretary-General of the Federation, and many sports personalities and leaders in diving, tourism, and water games.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference will witness many sports festivals, including the second Sports for All Festival in Aswan, which is held on the stadiums of Aswan University, as well as the ninth promotional festival for sports navigation and work to spread the foundations of the culture of sports tourism in Egypt.
