Access on food security and sustainable agriculture knowledge/skills/technology to local farmers and food producers

Consistent with UN SDGs, Aswan University seeks through the Agricultural Experiments and Research Center at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, to provide various activities and services that serve the agricultural sector in its various fields, the surrounding community, and achieve the desired coordination between scientific research and economic production. 

In order to ensure a sustainable community and environment, Aswan University provides access to its labs, orchards, agricultural greenhouses and libraries, to countries, organizations and individuals concerned with Sustainable agriculture and food security. 

We play an active role as a lead University to provide local and international community with knowledge, skills technology on food security and Sustainable agriculture

The university offers training courses for local farmers and food producers that are announced through the university’s websites.               

The Faculty of Agriculture at Aswan University has organized:-

• Five training courses in agricultural engineering entitled: 

1- Engineering and mechanical design by using SolidWorks (2D). 

2- Engineering and mechanical design by using SolidWorks (3D). 

3- Engineering and mechanical design by using SolidWorks program (detailed and assembled drawing). 

4- Engineering and mechanical design by using AutoCAD (2D). 

5- Designing and programing Arduino electronic circuit (introduction to robotics).
