Convoys’ Report:
Convoys’ Goals : Agricultural Campus aimed to ensure the roll of university presented in Faculty of Agriculture and natural resources in developing region and serving the local society and in the participation of small farmers and animal breeders in finding solutions to the urgent problems they face during agriculture and animal breeding; the campus take care on joining teaching staff who have a scientific Experiences with the easy contact with small farmers in village.
Convoys’ events:The campus started by introducing teaching staff and their different specializations to farmers and animal breeders
Animal Production sector’s events: Prof. Ahmed Esmail Demrany- Assistant professor started by asking some questions about animal production and the problems which facing the animal either in production side or Genital side and the questions were answered to help breeders how to solve these problems by simple and enable ways and less expensive and that to decrease the fees and increase the back of animal breeding from small farmers and achieve the Self-sufficiency of animal Protin ,dairy, and chickens
Plant Production sector’s events:
Dr. Mohammad Ali Farag -Assistant Professor in the Crops Department, the farmers asked questions about the problems of crops and fertilizers, and they were answered, taking into account the optimal use of fertilizers and the selection of the best plant strains that suit the type of soil to obtain the best productivity per acre for small farmers.
Dairy production section’s events:
Dr. Osama Safwat Fawzy – Assistant Professor at the Department of Dairy Technology The doctor talked about how to take advantage of the surplus milk to convert it into high-priced products and how to preserve the milk without spoiling and urged farmers to set up centers to collect and sell milk to increase the income of the breeder.
Agricultural Production Sector’s Events:
Dr. Hussein Hassan Adam – Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics The doctor spoke about the importance of recording all the economic information of the young breeder, whether buying or selling, with identifying the movement of markets and prices. Reporting the process of selling or buying in a timely manner to benefit from the high prices when selling and their decrease when buying to maximize income farmers and breeders.
