Today, Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed, President of Aswan University, witnessed the signing of financing contracts for Aswan University’s sustainable development projects, which was held on the campus in Sahari, in the presence of Prof. Ayman Othman, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and several deans of faculties and faculty members.
Projects were inaugurated on Aswan University’s Flag Day in March 2020, according to Prof. Ahmed Ghallab, President of the University.
A work team led by Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Orabi, Head of the Classification Team at the University, Dr. Ashraf Hamida, and Dr. Ayman Mohamed Samir, Member of the International Classification Office at the University, along with Prof. Ayman Othman,Vice President for Postgraduate Studies, and Research, were responsible for organizing these competitive projects, according to Ghallab.
Prof. Ahmed Ghallab, President of the University, explained that the projects were announced, submitted, and arbitrated through an electronic system, through which six winning projects were selected to serve many axes of sustainable development.
Prof. Ayman Othman indicated that these projects serve the university’s strategy for sustainable development and work to implement Egypt’s Vision 2030 to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
Prof. Mohamed Abdelaziz, Head of the University’s International Classification Committee, mentioned that the winning researchers and deans of the participating colleges attended the ceremony, and the winning projects came from the faculties of science, energy engineering, education, and physical education.
