The Association of Integrative Medicine and Sleep Disorders organized a workshop at Aswan University Hospital on chest diseases in the context of the activities of the 8th Conference of the Society which was held in Luxor during the period from 6 to 9 March and completes its procedures in Aswan for two days under the patronage of Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-University President.
Dr. Suzanne Salama, head of the conference and professor of chest diseases at Assiut University and the scientific supervisor of the Department of Chest and Intensive Care at the Faculty of Medicine in Aswan, said that the workshop aims to train young doctors in Aswan University Hospital on what is new in the field of Integrative medicine and sleep diseases, and several lectures include subjects about pains and sensitivity chest, chronic pulmonary embolism, breath disorders syndrome during sleeping and overlap between them, CT scan of the chest and the treatment of pneumothorax. She added the workshop also includes how to treat lung cancer and obesity surgeries and the methods of transferring samples.
