Aswan University, headed by Prof. Ahmed Ghallab, Aswan University president, prepares to participate in the first conference of the Universities of Upper Egypt which will be held at Luxor entitled “Towards a Sustainable Development Map for Southern Upper Egypt” during the period from11 -13 March.
Ghallab declares that the university will participate in this important conference with more than 80 scientific researches in different fields, moreover the participation of 5 students from the faculties of (Agriculture& Natural Source-Energy-Law-Social Work) with different developmental projects and experiences.
He added that the conference will discuss several important axes as:
-Put mechanisms for challenges that face the development in the governorates of South Upper Egypt.
-Develop visions and new mechanisms to invest the available resources in the region.
– Preparing a developmental guide for the governorates of South Upper Egypt.
-Find non-typical financing methods for the developmental projects, market it, and benefit from the successful experiments.
Prof. Ayman Othman-Vice dean of Aswan University for graduate studies and research explained that the university will show the investment and development opportunities of Aswan city Which is characterized as the gateway of Upper Egypt to the African continent and, it is recognized by President Sisi as the capital of the African youth for 2019.
