Prof.Ahmed Gallab-Aswan University President announced that the acceptation of the Prime Minister about transferring high voltage towers to New Aswan headquarters will add new expansions for the university estimated at 30 acres consequently the total space of headquarter will be raised to 130 acres.
During the tour of Dr.Mostafa Madbouli –Prime Minister, Dr.Ali Abdelal –Representatives Council President, Dr.Hala Elsaed-Minister of Planning to check Aswan university buildings and received them a group of Aswan University leaders.
Ghallab added that the prime minister also accepted on creating a wall for the headquarter of New Aswan University to keep the properties of the university in this area, the prime minister also recommended the necessity of increasing the number of faculties in New Aswan to attract huge numbers of students and achieving the greatest scientific benefit.
He pointed out that Dr.Mostafa Madbouli also directed to the creation of Egypt Dorm for academic staff at New Aswan University to provide stability for them and reduce the transport discomforts.
In the attendance of Prime Minister, Representatives Council President, and the Minister of Planning; Prof.Ahmed Ghallab –Aswan University President explained the components of the new headquarter which includes 7 faculties until now which are the faculties of (Law-Alsun-Archaeology-Commerce-Medicine-Art-Engineering) moreover the creation of study halls to hold the lectures to service the faculties of headquarter, with a total 6 study halls that include 6 thousand students.
Also, the tour included Prof.Ahmed Ghallab, Dr. Mostafa Maduboli, Dr.Ali Abdelal, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, in recognition of their efforts to promote Aswan University.
