Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman Aswan university President declred that the activities of the first training day of the e-learning platform “Thinqi” were launched within the framework of the protocol concluded between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and this training comes in light of the interest of the Supreme Council of Universities.
Dr. Louai Saad El-Din Nasrat _Vice President of Aswan University for Education and Student Affairs, accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Eid – Director of the Information Center and Communications Network, inspected the first training day of the e-learning platform “Thinky” in implementation of the cooperation protocol that includes activating the e-learning platform “Thinky” and the intermediate software in Egyptian universities and platform training in coordination with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
Dr. Louai Saad El-Din Nasrat_ Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, added that a training course has been started to achieve maximum benefit from the e-learning platform “Thinky” in cooperation with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank for training and technical support, in coordination with the Information Center and Communications Network at Aswan University and the E-Learning Unit, to discuss all inquiries and capabilities available on the platform.
Dr. Mohamed Eid – Director of the University’s Information Center, explained that the first training day was held at the university’s headquarters in Sahari, with the active participation of the audience, represented by candidates from academic staff and the supporting staff in the various facultes and institutes of the university, and members of the technical support team in the e-learning unit at the university’s information center.
The current course has also been planned for five training days, with a training day being held every week during which a detailed explanation and clarification of the various properties of the platform will be given. This is then followed by an explanation of how to create a question bank and prepare assignments through it, and an explanation of the students’ grade record. In addition, learning about course settings, which include adding learning outcomes, dealing with groups, adding grades and estimates, adding participants, and extracting reports.
