The Minister of Higher Education Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Aswan University president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed, 10 Egyptian university presidents, and 22 African countries’ delegations participated in the carnival held on Aswan Nile Corniche to celebrate the launch of the 1st AUYW organized by Aswan University which will continue till next Friday.
The EVENT started in front of one of Aswan’s elevated hotels then it reached Al Tagdeef Club. The carnival witnessed several attractive African shows. Art shows were also introduced by eight folk bands affiliated to the ministry of culture. The minister of higher education and the university presidents were keen to wear sports uniforms during their participation.
