Quality Education Aswan University provides an introductory seminar in collaboration with the Project Development Authority in the governorate

Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of Aswan University, stated that within the framework of implementing the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which is represented in activating the Ministry’s national strategy to achieve comprehensive development in various sectors, and working to connect graduates to the labor market in order to create a real partnership between educational institutions, factories, and companies to drive the wheel of  production and development, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Specific Education, Aswan University, in cooperation with the Project Development Authority in the governorate, organized an introductory student seminar entitled “Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises” for third and fourth year students, in the presence of representatives of the Projects Authority.

Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hamid Rashid, Dean of the Faculty, added that the seminar was supervised by Dr. Raja Ali Abdel Aleem, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, in the presence of representatives of the Projects Authority in Aswan, Mr. Muammar Gaddafi Saad El-Din, and Mr. Ahmed El-Adly, and a large student presence to introduce students to the importance and value of work and self-reliance after graduation.

Dr. Raja Abdel-Alim applauded the symposium’s activities and aims, which aimed to teach participants how to benefit from the agency’s financial and non-financial services, as well as the incentives and facilities offered by the Entrepreneurship Law. He also stated that the symposium aimed to teach students about the importance of small and micro firms in improving the national economy, as well as preparing a generation capable of competing and leading businesses.

Mr. Muammar Gaddafi noted that the ventures Authority, through its numerous services, aims to provide new chances for young people by launching modest ventures and providing the necessary infrastructure. The Authority supports medium and small initiatives, promotes self-employment, and connects large and small companies.
