Today, Aswan University Council for Education and Student Affairs convened under the chairmanship of Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, with the attendance of a number of deans and vice deans for education and student affairs, who are members of the council. The council was held to discuss several vital issues related to the educational process, as part of the university’s commitment to advancing the educational system and achieving the highest standards of academic quality.
During the meeting, the council reviewed the progress of first-semester examinations across the university’s various faculties. Aswan University comprises 18 faculties and two institutes, with approximately 24,000 male and female students perform the exams, amid close monitoring to ensure the regularity of examination committees and the provision of an appropriate environment for students.
Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, President of the University, emphasized that the Council for Education and Student Affairs places great importance on monitoring examination processes in all faculties. He stressed the university’s commitment to conducting exams in an atmosphere characterized by discipline and transparency, with full adherence to governing regulations, ensuring equal opportunities for all students and reflecting the civilized image of Aswan University.
The University President added that the university has fully prepared for the first-semester examinations of the academic year 2025–2026, which began on Saturday, December 20, by equipping examination committees, providing the necessary administrative and medical support, and ensuring the presence of academic leaders to follow up on the examination process on the ground.
The council also discussed a number of issues related to student affairs and adopted a set of decisions that serve the interests of students and support the stability of the educational process, within the framework of Aswan University’s strategy aimed at developing academic performance and enhancing the quality of university education.
This meeting comes as a confirmation of Aswan University administration’s keenness on continuous follow-up of all details of the educational process, in a manner that serves students’ interests and enhances the university’s standing at both the educational and community levels.
