Aswan University Achieves New Advanced Places According to THE 2020

Aswan University President Prof. Ahmed Ghallab said that the University was enrolled among 23 Egyptian ones from 767 international universities according to THE 2020 in 17 goals on achieving Sustainable Development Goals 2020. The selection was made between 85 countries, Aswan university gained advanced places in 6 sustainable development axes:

  • 201-200 for the 11th goal ( sustainable cities and communities) and in Climate Change.
  • 201-300 for governmental partnership as well as Justice and equality
  • 301-400 for education quality and health services

Prof. Ghallab added that Aswan university gained advanced scientific ranks at the level of the international universities, according to this ranking the University achieved considerable scientific position through scientific research and social engagement. The vice president of graduate studies and research Prof. Ayman Othman said that this advanced places gained by Aswan  university is the result of harnessing all capabilities for scientific research and boosting the infrastructure including labs and research centers. In the same context, the director of the university’s ranking center Prof. Mohammed Abd Al Aziz said that the work is done through participating in all social and research rankings in international institutions to achieve top places and placing the university among the outstanding scientific ones.
