Today corresponding to 18th Nov. 2021 the training course entitled “Environment and Sustainable Development” that was held in Egypt’s Center for Digital Creation in Sahary Campus over 3 days was wrapped up.
For his part, Aswan university’s acting president Prof. Ayman Othman confirmed the magnitude of carrying out this training course under the patronage of Aswan university headed by His Excellency and the International Center for Consultations and Public Services headed by Dr. Mahmoud Boraaey. The course handled several recent issues on climate, environment, and sustainable development. The event was held as a part of Aswan university’s keenness on environmental issues, community service, and engaging its students in environmental service. Prof. Ayman Othman stressed on reflecting the training outputs and aims at reality to achieve the utmost benefit of these expertises in the field of a clean environment.
Dr.Mahmoud Boraeey added that it was agreed that among the course outputs should be the necessity of students’ positive engagement in keeping the environment and community service through creating Aswan University’s Environment Friends Society according to a decree of Aswan university president and discussing the proposal submitted by Dr. Mahmoud Boraeey concerning creating an International Center for Awareness, Cultural Environmental, Sustainable Development for spreading environmental cultural via taking part in international events and promoting the relationships between African countries and the whole world for the importance of Aswan location and its historical and environmental dimensions.
It should be noted that the program witnessed considerable attendance of academic staff, their assistants, students as well as the participating bodies from outside the university. At the end of the program, Aswan university gave the University Sheild to Dr. Mahmoud Boraeey for the effective cooperation between the two parts where the Center granted a Sheild to Prof. Ayman Othman and Dr. Magdi Mohammed Ali.
