Aswan University organized a workshop on the different classifications of universities around the world and the efforts made to enter Aswan University among all international classifications, at the headquarters of the Faculty of Engineering.
The workshop was attended by: Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed – President of Aswan University, Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and a number of faculties deans, and academic staff.
Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Orabi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Aswan, stated that the aim of holding this workshop is to clarify the importance of including the university within the various global classifications and to raise awareness of the importance of international scientific publishing to increase the classification of Aswan University.
He added that the workshop spotlights on the various facilities provided by the university to researchers in order to include Aswan University in all international rankings, as Aswan University is currently ranked No. 23 among the 32 Egyptian universities, according to the Turkish-English classification of universities at the level of the world.
