Introduction
Aswan University is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse academic community thatupholds the principles of equality, respect, and social justice. Our comprehensive Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Policy outlines the steps and procedures we will undertake to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all individuals associated with our institution, without any form of discrimination or prejudice. This policy outlines our commitment to EDI and sets out the principles that will guide our work.
We will:

  • Promote equality of opportunity for all. We will ensure that all students, staff, and faculty have the same opportunities to succeed, regardless of their background.
  • Challenge discrimination and prejudice. We will not tolerate discrimination or prejudice of any kind. We will take action to address any incidents of discrimination or prejudice that occur.
  • Create a culture of respect and inclusion. We will create an environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. We will celebrate our diversity and work together to build a more inclusive community.
  • Provide support to those who are marginalized or discriminated against. We will provide support to those who are marginalized or discriminated against. We will work to ensure that they have the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.
