Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman_ Aswan University president, announced that on the sidelines of the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, headed by Prof. Ayman Ashour_ Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in attendance of Prof. Reda Hegazy_ Minister of Education and Technical Education, Dr. Mostafa Refaat_ Secretary of the Council and the members at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
Aswan University signed a cooperation protocol with Assiut University in order to activate aspects of fruitful and constructive cooperation between the Institute of African and Nile states Research and Studies_ Aswan University_ and Assiut University, represented by Faculty of Commerce, in the field of graduate studies and research. The protocol stipulates the exchange of Academic staff to teach some subjects and supervise various scientific theses, and providing all means of support to facilitate the work of both sides, as well as organizing workshops and mutual visits to transfer scientific expertise and cooperation protocol was signed by both sides, Prof. Ayman Othman_Aswan University President and Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy_ Assiut University president.
As Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Mehalal_ Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Supervisor of the Institute, explained this protocol comes within the framework of organizing the work of the Institute and increasing human capabilities by seeking the assistance of professors from Assiut University. This maximizes academic integration between the two parties, and applying the new strategy for higher education and scientific research, which works to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030.
