Based on the state’s vision and strategy for sustainable development and the support of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, it has become imperative that the strategy of Aswan University coincide with the information revolution and the rapid development of the world in the field of science and technology, to pursue advanced universities and balance with them in the field of international relations and issues of technology transfer and linking scientific research with industry. And because the current vision is based on economic development on supporting innovation and invention, encouraging innovators and inventors, and encouraging small, medium, and micro industries, hence the interest of Aswan University in obtaining funding from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology to establish and localize a complex of technology and innovation commercialization offices of Aswan University (TICO-Aswan) to provide real and more effective services to link the university and scientific research with industry and the needs of society. Therefore, the university administration gives top priority and full and comprehensive care to these types of projects and offices that contribute to solving the problems of society and industry, so that this is due With goodness and prosperity for our beloved Egypt, and based on the contract concluded between Aswan University and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, The TICO team is making increasing efforts to achieve the desired goals of the office complex, the most important of which is the preparation and management of the intellectual property policy of the university based on the training that the work team received from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and the WIPO International Organization.
