Aswan University is working to hold and host many scientific and medical conferences in Aswan Governorate, which enjoys warmth and represents a destination for tourists from different countries of the world, due to its distinguished geographical location and its status as a global winter resort and an important tourist destination. The university works to encourage and stimulate educational tourism.
In this context, the activities of the Fifth International Conference on Energy Engineering, organized by the Faculty of Energy Engineering at Aswan University, recently concluded under the auspices of Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed, President of Aswan University, and in the attendance of Prof. Ayman Othman, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research. Prof. Adel Zein Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Energy Engineering at Aswan University and Chairman of the Conference, added that the most important recommendations of the conference are to cooperate with international scientific journals that have a high scientific factor, in order to help spread the conference globally and increase the citation rate.
Raising knowledge of the social, economic, and technological elements of new and renewable energy at all educational levels and in the local community, as well as supporting the idea of local manufacture in this field.
The trend is towards using new, unconventional and unfamiliar methods and techniques in control systems and maximizing the direct benefit from solar energy in Aswan Governorate, such as (solar heaters – solar cooker).
The participation of distinguished professors from various Egyptian universities, particularly those who represent the permanent scientific promotion committees and an external referee, had the greatest impact on enriching the discussion within the scientific sessions, resulting in a fruitful outcome for all researchers and presenters of scientific research attending the conference.
