Aswan University is responsible for eradicating poverty through the various forms of support it provides to students from low-income families to enable them to complete their university studies, as the university offers various programs to support these students.

  • In the year 2022/2023, Misr El Kheir Foundation support financially incapable students with funding of 12600.00 pounds for the tuition fees of males and 30 females. In the same year the Ministry of Social Solidarity support students with funding of 149815.50 pounds for the tuition fees of 82 males and 110 females. 
  • In the year 2021/2022 the Ministry of Social Solidarity support students with funding of 11912.50 pounds for the tuition fees of males and 12 females. 
  • In the year 2020/2021, a cooperation protocol was signed between Aswan University and the Misr El Kheir Foundation to support financially incapable students within the Foundation’s Ibn Sabeel initiative, with funding of 48,500.00 pounds for the tuition fees of 68 males and females out of 120 students, at an amount of 80,000
