Aswan University President attends the honoring ceremony for graduates of the Skills Program: 5 Inspiring Energies

Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, President of Aswan University, attended the honoring ceremony for young men and women who successfully completed the training program organized by the Benban Solar Energy Investors Association, in cooperation with the Vision of Life Foundation for Community Development and a number of development partners from both the public and private sectors.

The ceremony included the distribution of graduation certificates for skill assessment and professional practice licensing, in addition to toolkits and sewing machines, to 47 male and female trainees who completed the “skills program of five Inspiring Energies”. The event was attended by Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal, Governor of Aswan, along with several executive and community leaders. The event was also attended by Eng. Hisham El-Gammal, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors; Hossam Sultan, Chief Executive Officer; and Mr. Rabie El-Bardisi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, President of Aswan University, stated that what we are witnessing today represents a practical and genuine step toward creating sustainable job opportunities for the youth of Aswan through high-quality, specialized training in the fields of renewable and non-renewable energy—particularly solar energy, which represents the fuel of the future and one of the pillars of the coming global economy.

He added that Aswan University is distinguished by the diversity of its academic specializations, as it includes the Faculty of Energy Engineering and the Faculty of Engineering, which together form an important foundation for preparing qualified engineering cadres for the industrial and engineering labor market, capable of competing locally and regionally. He also emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at empowering youth and enhancing their skills in line with Egypt’s development requirements.

Prof. Nasrat further noted that this cooperation comes within the framework of the state’s support for development plans and the expansion of specialized vocational training, which opens new employment horizons for the youth of Aswan and strengthens the university’s role as an active partner in community service and environment development.
