Aswan University President Reassures Injured Students of the Distinguished Housing Accident

As part of Aswan University’s commitment to following up on its male and female students and providing them with full support, Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat, Acting President of Aswan University, paid a visit to check on the students injured in the traffic accident of microbus in the distinguished housing. The visit took place at Al-Sadaka Hospital in Aswan to reassure them about their health conditions and to follow up on the medical care being provided.

Prof. Loai Saad El-Din Nasrat explained that the accident resulted in six student injuries—five female students and one male student. These included three female students from the Faculty of Social Work, and two female students and one male student from the Technical Institute of Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Aswan University. He confirmed that there were no fatalities.

Nasrat stated, “We checked on all the cases, and praise be to Allah their health conditions are stable and good. Five of the injured students have been discharged after receiving the necessary medical care. Meanwhile, the student Laqaa Hisham from the Faculty of Social Work, who is suffering from a foot fracture, will be transferred to the university hospital to continue treatment in the Orthopedics Department.

The Acting President of the University affirmed that Aswan University and its hospitals spare no effort in providing all forms of healthcare and medical treatment to its students. He added that the medical team will continue follow-up until everyone is fully reassured, stressing that student safety is a responsibility that extends even beyond the university campus.
