Nile Venture Lab is a circular economic incubator that funds and develops sustainable green technology to help combat climate change by supporting the green technology ecosystem in Upper Egypt.

In 2019, Aswan University is working on boosting the international collaboration regarding the implementation of SDGs. One of these various forms of collaboration is the collaboration with USAID through the partnership in the Center of Excellence for Energy (life of project: February 2019 – February 2024). This project is in cooperation with the USAID and some other Egyptian Universities, to build the research, education, and entrepreneurial capacity of Aswan University, Ain Shams, and Mansoura Universities to address the country’s most pressing energy-related challenges.
The Faculty of Energy Engineering has several events during 2022/2023 such as;
The Faculty of Energy Engineering in cooperation with Aswan syndicate of engineers organized a symposium entitled” Flourishing Future of Solar Energy in Aswan.”
The Faculty of Energy Engineering held a symposium entitled “ Renewable Energy between Reality and Hope “
The Faculty of Energy Engineering announced a workshop about ” Center of Excellence in Energy” funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
