A Symposium on the Future of Solar Energy

The faculty of energy engineering in cooperation with Aswan syndicate of engineers organized a symposium entitled” Flourishing Future of Solar Energy in Aswan”. For his part, Aswan university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab stressed on the significance such symposium which handled solar energy projects at Aswan, the projects that will provide students with new experiences on the different usages of renewable energy. The faculty of energy engineering’s dean Dr. Adel Zein added that the session covered the significance of solar energy in electricity production as a renewable energy source with no negative effects on the environment, it also handled solar energy-based electricity stations’ components in the national projects at the village of Banban which is considered one of the biggest solar energy production stations all over the globe. It should be noted that the session was attended by Prof. Ashraf Hemida, a professor at the faculty of energy engineering, the head of Aswan syndicate of engineers Eng. Mohammed Farag Allah, a range of the syndicate’s members and faculty of energy engineering’s students.
