Prompting Women to Work as Freelancers Initiative

As a part of cooperation between the ministry of higher education and scientific research and Microsoft Egypt corporation regarding activating training activities on modern technologies in Egyptian universities, under the patronage of Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, minister of higher education and scientific research, and the supervision of Supreme Council of Universities SCU headed by Prof. Mohamed Mostafa Latif, female students and graduates of Egyptian universities are being developed and engaged in the labor market to achieve a financial resource that ensure them a decent life through freelance jobs, via training them on technological, business management and personal skills.

    “Promoting Women’s Freelance” initiative presented by Microsoft Egypt and Care Egypt Foundation for Development assists girls and women from 18 to 35 years by enhancing their capacities and providing them with skills in order to understand the freelance market and know about possible jobs and platforms that facilitate obtaining online jobs.
