About Youth Welfare and the role of Youth Welfare Specialist:
Youth Welfare:
It is Professional Services or Organized Efforts of a preventive, developmental and Therapeutic Nature aims to meet the needs of Youth in all its forms as Individuals, Groups or Societies.
The Role of Youth Welfare Specialist:
-The Youth Welfare Specialist receives the new and oldest students and familiarizes them with Youth Welfare, its role and the activities that it provided to Students.
-The Youth Welfare Specialist Helps students to solve the problems which face them in the university and the Faculty.
– Developing the personality of the student through developing his skills and experiences by participating in the activities and helping them to implement the programs that they want to implement whether through the Union or the Groups.
– The Specialist provides Psychological care and Mental Health services for students free of Charge.
-The specialist does social Research to Help students who are Unable to pay the fees or buy Textbooks.
– Organizing and participating in conferences, Forums, Workshops and training on the level of the University or outside the university with Social organizations or Institutions or other universities that promote the spirit of Participation between students each other, between students and Academic staff and between students and Youth Welfare specialists.
– Preparing and organizing the camps that help in supporting values and principles of Social Service to students and promoting Positive ideas about the homeland, university, faculty, colleagues and the value of the individual, his role and ability.
-Coordinating the efforts in the frame of the unified Plan for the work and having a common goal that students working on achieving it, and that support the annual work plan of the Youth Welfare Office.
-the specialist tries to provide for students the opportunity to participate and cooperate and contribute in National projects and public services that helping on raising the environmental, and societal level of students.
-Developing students’ tendencies, capabilities and experiences through practicing the democratic methods, providing the necessary information about the environment through developing the student’s awareness about his needs and the public society’s needs.
– Holding the symposium and lectures that its concern about society and Problems and students’ needs.
– the diversity in the cultural and Political awareness program to support the spirit of Belonging to the homeland.
– Supporting the policy of Youth Media in the university through providing them with potential that contributes to assuring the national values to Students and encouraging them to participate in the programs for the development and advancement of the Egyptian society.
